Because I personally have trauma aplenty and did alot of things when I was Marinettes age that hurt other people or caused legit damage because of how I reacted to my trauma and the situation I was caught in. It's the fact that the show uses legit TRAUMA as a motivation for why our main characters actions and behavior hurt her partner and love interest and put him in an even worse place than before that pretty much makes me demand serious accountability from Marinette next season. Held him accountable for almost everything, even things he couldn't know about and understandably reacted negatively towards and hurt, but always ended up looking past his own trauma to adjust to Ladybug who needs it in his eyes. And that's a incredibly problematic usage of trauma in a story that, yes, makes absolutely expect that our main character will be held accountable for certain things in season 5 to narratively make up for this even though it's not her fault that Chat Noirs/Adriens life is so fucked up and she couldn't know this, because that was literally what the narrative did to Adrien/Chat Noir this season. But what's even more important for me is the fact that with season 4 Miraculous has now introduced blatant trauma and enormous stress for Marinette as story line and motivation to purposely use it to clash with Adriens and make it worse in the long run. She meant well but it's simply a fact that the path to actually save Chat Noir from the Chat Blanc incident was path A, but Marinette ended up on path B and has doubled down on EVERYTHING now. Just alone for THIS should the narrative hold Marinette accountable for the way season 4 played out. And you don't DECIDE that people aren't or that whatever their problem is from your limited and biased perspective is less worthy of concideration and priority as yours. Intentionally or not, you have to owe up to what you did because you are navigating in a world where you are always surrounded by people who can be just as hurt and traumatized as you are. You cannot tell (especially YOUNG) trauma survivors who have alot on their plate that they can just go to whatever extent to deal with their emotions on the expense of others to the extremes Marinette is doing it to Chat Noir/Adrien, without telling them that they absolutely need to stand accountable for the damage and pain they caused. Think that Marinette is justified and never did any wrong whatsoever as you like but if her behavior from s4 doesn't have legitimate consequences in s5 where she gets to correct the mistakes she understandably (but not justifiedly) made because she's then she's actually able to (or the narrative will force her to face it which is likely too), then im sorry but if this doesn't have consequences and gets excused because Marinette is a #girlboss then this is a horrible example for viewers at home. I'm hammering so down on this because Marinettes agressive trauma reaction with harsh secrecy and distance just NEEDS to have legitimate consequences following them because this is absolutely NOT how a family's cartoon should depict its main character and hero to deal and solve her trauma related to a friend when he has absolutely NO idea what is going on and why she's actually treating him like this.
