![]() ![]() How do you like the Nuo 4? I've wanted a Nuo 3.0 for a long time.Die Notwendigkeit eines Lizenzschlüssels hängt davon ab, wie das Produkt verwendet wird und welches Modell Sie verwenden. It's basically just a no-nonsense workhorse, IMO, that does the job in a mostly inoffensive way. :-( The DJM isn't horrible, but A&H, Mackie, PPD, and especially Denon (1700!) make it sound pretty mid-fi. The Geminis are soooooooooo nice to mix and blend with, until they skip or freeze or reboot. I much prefer vinyl or the Hanpin players even with the time-based ramp up jog bend. They're such a pain in the ass to mix on by ear, though. I'd probably buy another pair and go four-deck crazy into my DJM-800. If Pioneer got rid of the jog bend deadzone and added a 32% pitch range (could light up the 6, 10, and 16 lights) with 0.1 increments, I'd be completely happy with my CDJ-900s. I just plain try not to deal with the prima donnas. If you are getting paid on the regular it will pay for itself eventually. Plus a lot of hassle.īottom line is that if you are dealing with people who are in the position to give you grief you are better off rolling over and playing dead on this one. Resulting in a high cost to them and loss of rental for me not to mention some amount of negative rep for me not having "club standard". Promoter capitulated and paid a rental house for the decks. Sure enough when the week of the event came there was a flurry of snarky emails about the lack of "club standard" gear. so I told the promoter no prob I have that. For example an event I worked on recently the rider specified djm900nxs/cdj2000nxs but in parenthesis also specified that djm800/cdj900 networked was acceptable. Sometimes people are reasonable and will quickly compromise if the are not really in need of the bigger feature set. It was on the contract, the promoter signed the contract, you are going to be required to provide it. And you will probably have to provide that, whether they need it or not. all of which my usual DJs will play on even the somewhat famous ones.īUT when you do get into satisfying riders, those riders are going to have CDJ2000NXS with DJM900NXS on there. I can also offer XDJ-1000mk2 Xone 62 and Ecler Nuo 4. Generally speaking I deal with the first kind and have no problems or complaints when I provide my CDJ-900's + DJM-800. ![]() those who have enough pull to force you to meet their rider requirements. When it comes down to it there are two kinds of DJ's. The RB cues, hot cues, loops, and playlists issue is the last real hurdle for me to accommodate given I only have vinyl, Hanpins, CDJ900s, and am not interested in buying CDJ2000s due to their jog bend deadzone and shitty pitch resolution on wide I already gripe about on the cheaper CDJ900s. I want to know this information for getting a feel for gear requirements in the booth, as I've encountered a few prima donnas who have very specific ones, as well as other personality problems. I only have the latest version of RB 2, anyway, due to my privacy worries concerning KUVO. Usually in that case, it's just downloading some odd track off youtube and then importing it into Rekordbox and dragging into the player that way, not actually tracks from my not-really-up-to-date library. ![]() I personally don't use RB at all for creating playlists, hot cues, or pre-set loops, but occasionally I use RB and a laptop off to the side if a venue needs me to be able to do requests and I use that track offload function over ethernet with my CDJ900s. but somehow I must have done it wrong cause it didn't do what I expected and really messed me up. OK one time, the first time I tried using rekordbox rather than just putting files in folders. ![]()
